When you delve into the "Wallpapers" section of the app you'll find a number of recommendations based on your recent views choices. This includes wallpapers similar to those you've already been view to.
Thanks to the machine learning technology behind it WallTop is able to analyse user data. This then feeds into creating new wallpaper ideas for specific times where users can discover more wallpapers.
By analysing a wallpapers color, theme, and brightness, amongst other things, WallTop can understand complex features users like and improve its recommendations.
A person’s preference will vary by the type of wallpaper, by their current activity, by the time of day, and so on. Our goal then is to come up with a nuanced understanding of each portion of your taste.
And it depends on three factors:
Collaborative Filtering models, which analyse both your behavior and behaviors of persons similar to you.
Models, which analyse the raw image channels themselves.
