En Chemise

En Chemise is a game for two players, but can also be played solo.
It is played with a deck of 40 Italian cards.
At the beginning, each player is given a face-down half deck of 20 cards.
The player whose turn it is (indicated by an arrow) reveals the top card of his deck (by touching it).
The face-up card is placed in the center. if it is a card with a value greater than 3 (i.e. from 4 to the King),
the turn passes to the opponent, who in turn will reveal (by touching it) the top card of his deck.
In this way a well is formed in the center.
If the revealed card is 1,2 or 3, this forces the opponent to reveal as many cards in sequence as he indicates
the paper itself. For example, if the card is a two, the opponent will have to reveal two cards.
In this phase it may happen that all the cards revealed by the opponent are of a value greater than 3.
In this case the entire central well is transferred to the first player's deck.
If, however, one of the cards revealed in sequence is 1,2 or 3, then the sequence is interrupted, and now it is the first player who must reveal as many cards as this card indicates.
To give an example, player A reveals a 3. Player B must reveal 3 cards. Suppose he first turns over a King, then an Ace.
At this point the sequence stops, and player A must reveal a card. If this card is a 7, then B takes the entire pocket.
If, however, the card revealed by A is a 2, then the sequence passes to B, who will have to reveal two cards.
The game ends when one of the two players runs out of cards.
