Flags Quest
iPhone / Jeux
For me, learning flags feels like connecting to the whole world I live in. More and more people, including myself, see themselves as citizens of the world. Learning flags becomes a way to build a simple model of all the fascinating cultures and people that make up this planet. It’s a foundation for understanding the world in a broader sense—helpful for grasping politics, the economy, or simply finding creative inspiration from different cultures.
I’ve tried other apps, but they were either ugly, filled with annoying ads, or asking you to pay a subscription just to get rid of them. The reality is, building a great app takes a lot of time and money, and we all have to make money somehow. Eventually, I built my own simple prototype with nice sound effects, and I loved playing with it. I couldn’t stop making it better, and that’s how Flags Quest came to life. I wanted to try a different model: no ads, no in-app purchases (so your kids won’t accidentally spend any money). I ask for one payment, and you get to use the app forever.
I hope Flags Quest is helpful for travelers, geography enthusiasts, parents, students, or anyone who wants to connect more with the world around them. It’s definitely better than just scrolling through Instagram, right?
