This app is dedicated to my friend “Al.”
In 1981, when we were 12 years old, he taught me how to program in Basic and made me fall in love with the Apple world.
He had created a program to guess U.S. states by showing only their shapes: that’s how I learned the names of all 50 U.S. states.
Together we then adapted the idea to the 20 Italian regions, and that’s how I learned both geography and how to program in Basic.
Thank you, Al, for passing on to me the joy of programming and using Apple tools: this app is also thanks to you, and I will remember you forever.
