Token Forge is a daily word game with a twist: the letter-tiles aren't letters – they're BPE tokens, the same sub-word fragments that AI language models use to read text.
Each day brings a new plate of tokens. Combine them into real words: the more you find, the higher your score. Complete the plate to unlock the bonus round.
THE BONUS ROUND – BECOME AN ATTENTION HEAD
Ever wondered how an AI model actually understands a sentence? In the bonus round, you find out by doing it yourself. Given a sentence with one highlighted word, you spread 100 attention points across the other words to show which ones matter most for understanding it – exactly what happens inside a language model. Each puzzle teaches a real pattern: how pronouns find what they refer to, how verbs reach for their subjects, how comparatives need both sides.

Every word is checked against a standard dictionary. Proper nouns and abbreviations aren't accepted; uncommon-but-real words are recognized as rare finds.

Token Forge 1.3 adds medals, clearer progress, and a much smarter word check.
Earn medals: reach the day's goal for Bronze, then keep forging to climb to Silver and Gold. A new medal bar shows how close you are to finding every word, and your medals are marked in the calendar so you can track your best days.
Smarter words: the dictionary behind both English and Swedish has been rebuilt and validated, so far more real words are recognised — and a long-standing issue where some valid words were rejected in Token Solitaire is now fixed.
