WordXing
iPad / Jeux
WordXing™ is the fast-paced word-crossing game for the iPhone and iPad. Players are given a set of letters to form into a single group of words that cross each other vertically and horizontally.
WordXing is exciting to play because:
• Intuitive interface makes game play easy and fast:
• Play new words by tapping each letter in sequence and then drag and drop the word onto the game board.
• Letters that have already been played can be rearranged to form different/better words.
• New letters can be requested and existing letters can be exchanged for new letters.
• WordXing accepts dictionary words as valid, but also accepts proper names, geographical names, abbreviations, slang, and pop-culture words.
• Double points are awarded for long words and words containing the special, “2X” letter chosen randomly at the start of the game.
• Play solo or against an opponent.
• The entire game is played in one turn. You never have to wait to play, even when playing an opponent.
• Concisely displays the pending games between you and your opponents.
• Tracks your recent and best games played, enabling review of scores and final board layouts for you and your opponents.
• Two game types: time-limited and score-target games, each with short, medium, and long options.
• Play left or right handed - just rotate your device to find the best orientation for you.
WordXing supports 11 languages: Danish, Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, and Turkish.
When you purchase WordXing, you get the app, the whole app, and nothing but the app! WordXing has no ads and no in-app purchases.
Quoi de neuf dans la dernière version ?
Game-of-the-Day (GOTD): Each day, WordXing now features a new Game-of-the-Day, where everyone who plays the GOTD gets the same set of random letters. So, players can now challenge friends to get the best score on the WordXing GOTD.
Head-to-Head Play: If you and your friends start the same WordXing game on each of your devices at the same time, each player will get the same set of random letters to play. So, friends can now challenge each other in the moment with simultaneous, head-to-head games to see who is the best WordXing player.
Share Scores: When reviewing a completed game, you can now share an annotated screenshot of your highlighted score. If you share your GOTD score on the same day you played the GOTD, your score will be shared but the letters will be hidden. This way you can share your GOTD score but not show how you got your score.
And... a minor bug fix.
