MP3 Normalizer
macOS / Musique
MP3 Normalizer enhances listening experience by equalizing music volume, boosting voice loudness, and ensuring seamless transitions between tracks.
The trial version is available on amvidia.com/mp3-normalizer.
MP3 NORMALIZER IS AN IDEAL OPTION FOR:
• Equalizing the loudness across a song list;
• Balancing the volume throughout a voice recording;
• Audio compression for mobile and car listening;
• Improving the quality of old and poorly-sounded records.
INPUT FORMATS
MP3 Normalizer accepts .mp3 and .wav files, generating a new MP3 file with an adjusted volume level.
CHOOSING A NORMALIZATION METHOD AND LEVEL
In the Preferences/Effects window, you can manage volume normalization and audio effects. To boost the volume of MP3 tracks, you can use Peak or Loudness (EBU R128) normalization methods. The enabled Automatic Volume Control feature ensures clear and audible voice recordings. Additionally, audio effects like Fade-In, Fade-Out, and Trimming of Silence ensure smooth and seamless playback of music collections.
PEAK NORMALIZATION
MP3 Normalizer applies the Peak Normalization algorithm with a Target Level of 0 dBFS by default. This setting adjusts the loudest peak to the Target Level without compressing or distorting the sound. However, the perceived loudness level may vary and not correspond to the audio Peak Level. Loudness (EBU R128) Normalization is an excellent solution in such cases.
LOUDNESS (EBU R128) NORMALIZATION
EBU R128 algorithm intelligently analyzes sound similar to how we hear it. Consequently, it is an excellent solution for standardizing perceived loudness levels across a list of songs to ensure a seamless listening experience. We suggest setting the Target Level value within the range of -23 LUFS to -15 LUFS.
AUTOMATIC VOLUME CONTROL
Automatic Volume Control makes quiet parts of voice records clear and hearable. It amplifies silent segments of audio automatically. We recommend enabling Automatic Volume Control while processing interviews, podcasts, and audiobooks.
MAKE MP3 TRANSITIONS SEAMLESS
Applying audio effects enhances the listening experience by ensuring smooth and continuous music playback. You can control the duration of the fade-in, fade-out, and silent threshold for trimming. To apply these effects along with volume adjustment, enable them in Preferences/Effects.

AUTOMATIC MP3 SETTINGS
MP3 Normalizer automatically calculates the Bit Rate, Sample Rate, and Channels to apply the best settings to your MP3 files. Automatic MP3 settings ensure high sound quality and save time and hard drive space. If you prefer to convert to a specific Bit Rate, Channels, or other settings, adjust them in the Preferences / Format settings.
BATCH PROCESSING
The MP3 Normalizer can adjust the volume of unlimited files and folders in a single click. It also supports multiple normalizations simultaneously. Additionally, the application can replicate the structure of source folders when adjusting the volume of an entire music collection.
TAGGING ON THE FLY
MP3 Normalizer can transfer all tags from source .mp3 and .wav files, create missing metadata from files and folder names, or load music tags from online databases - such as MusicBrainz, AcoustID, and CoverArt. If you want to check or modify tags after normalization, please use our Tag Editor.
MP3 RENAMER & ORGANIZER
Rename and organize normalized MP3 files into folders and playlists according to Artist, Album, and other audio metadata set in Preferences / General / Destination Files.
INTEGRATION WITH ITUNES / APPLE MUSIC
MP3 Normalizer can export tracks to a new or existing iTunes or Music app playlist quickly and easily.
