Silenz is a Mac menu-bar app that keeps you in your music or your work with your headphones on — then lets the room back in the moment it matters: someone speaks to you, the phone rings, someone's at the door. It smart-pauses your audio — eases it down, then brings it back when things are quiet again. Automatic, hands-free, and it works with any headphones you own — now tuned for AirPods Pro and Max.

FOCUS
Be interrupted only by things that matter. Smart mode listens for speech, phone rings, and doorbells while ignoring random background noise — so you stay in flow until something actually needs you.

HEAR
Mix ambient sound into your audio when you want full awareness. Silenz passes your surroundings through your headphones like an extra pair of ears, with adjustable volume or mute.

CONTROL
Three modes from the menu bar: Off, On (hear everything), or Smart (hear only voices and alerts). Switch with a keyboard shortcut or a double-tap of Ctrl. Silenz can also pause audio when you unplug your headphones or lock your Mac, so nothing keeps blasting through your speakers.
