Tag Stripper
macOS / Musique
A simple app that strips all metadata from supported audio file formats.
Unlike tag editors that try to remove fields one-by-one, Tag Stripper rebuilds a fresh copy containing only the audio — anything that isn't audio gets dropped by construction. That includes proprietary chunks standard tag tools don't know about.
Currently supports AIF, WAV, FLAC, M4A, MP4, MP3, AAC, AC3, and CAF audio files.
Some examples of tags that are removed: ID3v1, ID3v2, Logic metadata, Garage Band metadata, Pro Tools metadata, etc.
