CuraSwing brings new swing to walking!

CuraSwing translates the swinging of the arms while walking into music and thus stimulates the entire movement sequence. The rhythmic stimulation starts with the onset of the arm swing while walking. The stimulating music gradually unfolds as the arm swing increases. More and more instruments, rhythmic elements and finally a melody are added.
Larger and faster movements automatically increase the musical intensity in real time. The intuitive musical feedback in combination with rhythmic-auditory stimulation promotes a lively rhythmic gait pattern.

CuraSwing was developed with the support of leading neurological and music therapy experts at the Parkinson's Center Beelitz-Heilstaetten / Germany. The app is specially tailored to the needs of people with limited mobility and a lack of exercise (e.g. Parkinson's disease or orthopedic conditions). This innovative form of musical biofeedback is based on neuroscientific research.

In addition to an interactive coach, the Pro version also offers a results analysis for long-term progress.

And this is how CuraSwing works:

Connect your smartphone to (Bluetooth) headphones (ideal when walking outdoors) or a (Bluetooth) speaker (ideal when exercising indoors).

Open the app and select the desired tempo under "Tempo". You should choose the tempo that best supports you when swinging your arms. If you are not sure, start with the slowest track 100 bpm and then try to increase the tempo.
Choose the right training duration for you (10 min, 15 min or 20 min).
Hold the smartphone in the hand to be trained.
Put it in a pocket attached to your wrist (recommended) so that the device does not fall out of your hand during training. Start the music by pressing the round "Play" button. The intensity of the music increases until the maximum arm swing movement is reached.
