Oppositional Defiant Disorder is a pattern of anger, irritability, arguing, defiance of rules, and vindictiveness towards authority figures. It can sometimes be hard to distinguish between a hotheaded or emotional child and one with oppositional defiant disorder.
Oppositional Defiant Disorder typically affects kids between the ages of 6-12 and can be effectively treated through family-based psychotherapy.
