BreakDownWay provides online lessons from masters such as Jorma Kaukonen and Jack Casady, founding members of the legendary Jefferson Airplane & Hot Tuna, Woody Mann, Oteil Burbridge (Allman Brothers Band), Barry Mitterhoff (Hot Tuna), Micheal Falzarano (New Riders of the Purple Sage), Roy Book Binder and David Wolff (founder of BreakDownWay).

Our instructional videos enable you, the student, to be learning from, and interacting with these musical legends and talented teachers and many more to come.

Now with BreakDownWay Lessons on your iPhone you can have the mobility to study the lessons on the road, while in flight, at the office, or on your TV screen. Even if you happen not to have an instrument available, it is a terrific way to refresh your memory, find some notes you may have missed, and to be reminded to “keep the groove”!

Take lessons as never before offered, as a virtual private session with masters of their trade. What could be better? Well, BreakDownWay has made it better. Each student can correspond via e-mail with the artist teaching the lesson thereby getting help through a particular tough spot or getting advice on a specific technique.

We believe that we are offering the next best thing to a private, one-on-one session with the masters themselves. It is our primary mission to have you learn to play music better; to teach in a way that we feel will make you a better musician in the long run, to enjoy the results and to share the resulting pleasure with others.
