Averager is for when you care about your average, not just the speed right now.

Hit start. Drive. The big number is your trip average. Under it you'll see current speed, distance, and how long you've been going. Stop when the trip is over. Simple.

Pick km/h or mph. Set a target average if you want the digits to change color as you get close. Turn on keep-awake so the screen stays on while you track. Flip on Live Activity and check your average from the lock screen without opening the app.
