Got lost? Don’t know how to use a map properly? Just open MapScope, raise your device and admire the amount of places around you!!

MapScope is all about finding places near you. They can be supermarkets, banks, bus stops; anything you want to find is available in MapScope. And, best of all, why should you use a map? Just use your camera and let augmented reality do the rest!!

Do some places overlap? Just pinch them to move them further apart!!

MapScope has an amazing UI which, with the use of blur, adapts to the camera feed. So, the UI will never obstruct the camera view, which will let you concentrate more on walking and looking at the device at the same time.

MapScope is powered by the Google Places API, which includes more 50 million places, so you will always know what there is close to you!!

Each place on the screen is scaled based on location distance, so you always know what’s the closest location to you!!

What if you want to add your own place for everyone to see? Thanks to CloudKit, this is possible in MapScope!! Just pick a name, a location and a category and you are good to go!! And, there are no restrictions on the format of the place: you can whatever you want!!

What happens when you click in a place? You can view comments and even the rating of the place. And, if the place supports it, you can even write your comments and rating to give an even better idea to users on how good the places is!!

Please note that an iCloud account is required if you want to create places, comments and ratings.
