You no longer need to hunt down a photobooth for approved images, just download the app and complete the whole process from the comfort of your home. Simply have a friend take your photo and upload it straight onto the app. Assuming all the usual requirements are met and the €5.99 fee has been paid, your passport photo code will be with you within 24 hours. You can then use this on your online application for a new Irish passport. It’s as easy as that - all you have to do now is decide where you'll go first!If you would like physical prints, these too can be purchased via the app. Delivery will cost an additional €2.50 and take 3-5 working days.
