IRLpad
iPhone / Productivité
IRLpad is a digital notepad with physical constraints.
No delete key. No infinite scroll. Just one page at a time — built for memory, not productivity.
It’s not a notes app. It’s a notepad, reimagined for your iPhone.
Each page is finite. When you reach the end, you turn it. There’s no scroll and no folders. Backspace strikes through — it doesn’t erase. You can flip back to older pages and even see faint traces underneath, just like real paper.
You can write by hand or type.
Use your finger or a stylus.
Switch modes with a simple two-finger swipe — no settings to toggle mid-flow.
IRLpad adds subtle but powerful enhancements to keep you in rhythm:
• Custom keyboard buttons let you jump to the end of the line or page without dragging the cursor
• Haptic feedback adds tactile presence to page turns and deletions
• Fast swipes remove entire pages — like tearing out a sheet
• Page translucency gives you a glimpse of what came before
Want control over those features? You can adjust them any time via the Settings app > IRLpad on your iPhone. Enable or disable haptics, auto-correct, auto-capitalization, and more.
IRLpad is grounded in cognitive science — not just aesthetics.
Studies show that:
• Fixed spatial locations improve memory
• Constraints reduce cognitive overload and sharpen decisions
• The absence of “undo” increases focus and intentionality
Your notes are stored in iCloud automatically.
No account setup. No export rituals. No sync buttons.
IRLpad won’t color-code your thoughts.
It won’t transcribe your meetings.
It won’t organize your chaos.
It gives your ideas space to live — with edges, limits, and a sense of presence.
IRLpad is for people who miss notebooks.
Who think better with physical constraints.
Who want to feel their thoughts, not just store them.
Quoi de neuf dans la dernière version ?
New ways to stay in flow:
• Custom keyboard buttons to jump to the end of the line or page — no dragging, no disruption.
• Haptic feedback on page turns and deletions — a subtle cue to keep writing grounded.
• Settings menu now available via the iOS Settings app > IRLpad for toggling haptics, autocorrect, auto-capitalization, and more.
IRLpad still has no delete key.
Still no scroll.
Just one page at a time — built for memory, not productivity.
