LocalMind is a private, local-first AI chat app for iPhone.
It is built for people who want an AI assistant without sending personal prompts, replies, or attachments to a remote AI server.
LocalMind is free to download and offers full access through an annual subscription at $19.99/year.
Privacy by design:
- Conversations are processed on your iPhone
- Prompts, replies, and optional image attachments stay on your device
- No account, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking
- No cloud AI inference and no developer server for your chat content
- Core chat inference can work without network access after the app resources are installed
LocalMind includes two simple modes:
- Fast for everyday private chats
- Pro for more demanding prompts
Fast is designed for quicker everyday text chat. Pro is better for more demanding prompts and optional image mode, but it can take longer to load because the work still happens locally on your iPhone.
Image mode is optional, off by default, and available only when you choose to enable it. Because everything runs locally, image answers may be slower than text-only chats.
LocalMind is for private thinking, drafting, brainstorming, and everyday questions when you want the conversation to stay on the phone in your hand.
Subscription terms: $19.99/year. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation. The subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it in App Store account settings.
