Biofouling Impact shows how invisible marine growth on your hull can silently drain fuel and money. Simulate drag, fuel waste, and CO₂ emissions caused by fouling—and see the real cost of poor hull maintenance. Perfect for shipowners, operators, and maritime professionals seeking efficiency and sustainability.

Key Features:
- Fuel Cost Calculator: Estimate the extra fuel and expenses caused by hull fouling.
- CO₂ Impact Insight: Track how emissions rise with fouling severity.
- Scenario Simulation: Adjust fouling level, vessel type, speed, and more.
- Visual Dashboards: Get clear, actionable results at a glance.
- Presets & Saved Profiles: Store vessel configurations for quick access.

Quoi de neuf dans la dernière version ?

Hotfix: Changing the vessel type or size now automatically recalculates the biofouling impact. Keyboards for editing nautical miles, operating days, and fuel cost now include a confirmation button to apply the value and dismiss the keyboard. Additionally, the selected route—or custom values for nautical miles and days—are now preserved between app sessions.

This update significantly enhances the biofouling impact analysis by introducing a more realistic simulation of marine conditions. The app now clearly distinguishes the fuel consumption penalties caused by hull and propeller fouling from those caused by environmental factors such as wind and sea state. Additionally, it incorporates advanced interaction modeling, capturing how adverse weather conditions can amplify the effects of fouling rather than acting independently. The results now include a detailed breakdown of fuel consumption, CO₂ emissions, and cost impact for each contributing factor, offering a more transparent and accurate assessment of operational inefficiencies. This enables users to better evaluate the benefits of hull cleaning and maintenance strategies with real-world, data-driven insights.
