Carbon Natural is the first tree replacement calculator to use carbon sequestration modelling.
Whether you’re an arborist, urban forester, landscape architect or a town planner, Carbon Natural
enables you easily calculate the carbon footprint of tree removal.

Sequestering atmospheric carbon is one of the many benefits which urban trees provide to society.
When a tree is cut down, we lose all the future benefits that the tree would have otherwise
provided. By modelling the carbon sequestration behaviour of a range of urban tree species, with
only a trunk diameter measurement and an estimate of the tree tree’s remaining life span, Carbon
Natural can estimate the carbon sequestration deficit from tree removal and produces a pdf report
which tells you how many new trees to plant to be carbon neutral.
