IP Commander for iOS allows you to make, receive, forward, transfer, conference and manage phone calls from your iPad while docked on your Communicator once it is configured and registered to a compatible voice over Internet service (VoIP).
**IMPORTANT NOTE: IP Commander, used in conjunction with the Communicator, is a standalone SIP phone, and not a VoIP service. A IP-PBX/SIP server connection or subscription with a SIP-based VoIP provider is required to make or receive calls with IP Commander for iOS.
IP Commander for iOS enables you make and receive HD voice calls from your home or office. Dialing from address book on the iPad is a breeze. And you can add phone numbers and contacts from the IP Commander call logs to your iPad address book. IP Commander simplifies calling family, friends and business associates while providing convenient call management features such as programmable buttons, forwarding, three way calling, customizable music on hold, etc.
iDevices Supported : iPad, iPad2, and the new iPad.
This version is only compatible with iOS 5 and iOS 6.
Audio Path Control:
To enable IP Commander on your Communicator, navigate to the Audio System Control panel in the app while your iPad is connected and turn on Enable Commander and set the Audio System Control preference to Commander.
Audio/Voice connection can go thru both Bluetooth™ or 30-pin connector to Communicator dock.
