This is a simple app for disc golf enthusiasts that aims to eliminate the usual pain points of recording yourself for form review. Whether you do field work, throw into a net, or record your throws out on the course, this will make the recording process MUCH more efficient.
Trigger recordings with voice commands so you don't have to keep walking back to your phone. This allows you to maintain a certain stance or position you're working on so you don't have to break up your flow.
Playback begins instantly after the Stop command and defaults to slo-mo, looping automatically. Switch between 1/4 speed, 1/2 speed, and full speed with one button. Adjust start / end markers on-the-fly, and playback updates immediately with zero processing time. No more switching back and forth between the Camera and Photos app, futzing around with the video length and fixing where the slo-mo is supposed to start just to see one throw.
Videos are ephemeral by default, with the option to manually save when desired. No more filling up your device storage and then having to sift through trying to remember the good ones. Note: videos are purposely saved untrimmed with full frames and audio data to avoid any processing time.
No tripod? Flip to the rear camera and have a friend or coach record for you. Review playback together, switch off, and compare. Makes collaboration easy and fun, instead of tedious.
The app is even versatile enough to use for other sports. Review your baseball, tennis, or golf swing. Musical instrument practice, dance moves, you name it. You can use it for any repetitive physical motion that benefits from being recorded and reviewed. Portrait and landscape orientations both supported.
No sign up or login. Videos are all local and not sent anywhere. No usage data is collected at all.
