Pitchworks
iPhone / Sports
Most pitchers have no idea what they actually throw. They know their fastball "feels" fast and their curveball "usually" works. But feelings don't reveal why the third inning always falls apart, or whether that new changeup grip is actually improving command. Data does.
Pitchworks captures what happens on every pitch (velocity, location, outcome) and transforms it into insights you can act on. Get answers between innings, no statistics degree required.
WHAT YOU GET
During the game: A scoring interface designed for the chaos of live baseball. Four taps to log a pitch. No internet required. Works in the dugout, behind the backstop, or in the bullpen.
After the session: Generate charts showing velocity trends, zone accuracy, pitch mix, and outcome breakdowns. See at a glance whether your pitcher is locating or just surviving.
Over time: Compare today's outing to last month's. Track progress across a season. Identify the patterns that paper logs could never reveal, like which counts lead to walks, or how velocity drops after 40 pitches.
For the conversation: Send PDF reports to players, parents, or other coaches with a single tap. Every session becomes documented evidence of work put in and progress made.
BUILT FOR REALITY
High school baseball happens on patchy fields with inconsistent Wi-Fi and limited time between games. Pitchworks works offline, requires no account setup, and stays out of your way so you can focus on your team.

What's New (v1.3.0)
REPORT CARD
Compare your entire pitching staff in one PDF. The new Report Card shows velocity rankings, pitch counts, and key stats for every pitcher side-by-side. Filter by time period (current session, current month, last month, or all time) and by team.
NON-COMPETITIVE PITCH TRACKING
The "Wild" button is now "NCP" (Non-Competitive Pitch). This better describes pitches that are significantly off-target. Existing data is automatically updated.
IMPROVED PDF STATS
- WHIP and Chase Rate replace Batters per Walk and Batters per Hit
- Innings Pitched now shown in standard baseball notation
- Max speed included in the velocity section
