Quoi de neuf dans la dernière version ?
RaceOwl Admin 9.1.1 builds on 9.1 with map stability and permissions refinements.
RaceOwl Admin 9.1 is a major update focused on faster dispatch, clearer situational awareness on the map, and easier volunteer onboarding.
Dispatch & Safety
• Locate Now — request an on-demand position fix from a racer directly from Team Status.
• Dispatch tickets now show the racer's mapped position (e.g. "River Mile 23.5") in race-local 12-hour time.
• Reworked ticket layout, plus a fix for the Accept button occasionally firing twice.
• The Safety Dispatch Dashboard now shows a proper empty state instead of a blank screen.
Hazard Reporting
• Report hazards from the field with a long press on the map — set hazard type, affected radius, and whether it's moving. Available when your event enables crowd-sourced hazards.
Map
• Nearby racers now cluster automatically, and tight groups spread into a readable ring as you zoom in.
• New Map Fidelity setting, and fixes for racers occasionally missing from the map.
Racer Management
• Racer Actions now sorts by route progress, adds a Stale filter and bulk DNF, and refreshes twice as often.
• Long-press any racer row to jump straight to Racer Detail.
• Team Status role and online filters now stay put between sessions.
Admin & Setup
• Volunteer self-registration, with admin-code prompts only where actually needed.
• Auto-start is now the only admin start mode, removing a frequent source of confusion.
• New Theme picker (System / Light / Dark).
• Race codes now appear alongside race names when selecting an event.
• Broadcast composer shows a live SMS segment count.
Privacy & Battery
• Location accuracy is now two-tier: precise only for on-duty staff, reduced for everyone else.
• Staff position updates use a duty-cycle approach that's easier on battery.
Plus many stability and layout fixes throughout.
9.1.1 fixes map markers flickering and the app slowing down during busy, high-traffic races, and makes location permission prompts less frequent and easier to dismiss.
