Athan Signs is an elegant solution for the Athan Called/Athan Not Called display in Masajid. It automatically recognizes the athan and switches to Athan Called when the athan is called. After a configurable amount of time, it switches back to Athan Not Called. The app works on iPhone 5 and up, iPod 6 and up, and iPad 4 and up.
