The IFF Prompts share the experience of the International Futures Forum (IFF) in taking on complex, messy problems in the real world. Each card – with both a statement and a picture – suggests what we might look for, appreciate, value, pay attention to; or how we might behave, show up and take action when we encounter complex or confusing circumstances. The App allows you to shuffle the full deck and select a card at random any time you need a shot of imaginative inspiration, future-focused thinking or an unconventional suggestion as to how to proceed.

International Futures Forum (IFF) has been engaged in a programme of research and practice since 2001 to discover how to take more effective action in a world we do not understand and cannot control. These prompts are also available as a physical deck of cards which enjoy wide currency and have been used in diverse locations around the world – boardrooms, parliaments, communities, schools...
