RunDose — Know Exactly How Far to Run Today

A simple app for runners with annual distance goals. Set your target, log your year-to-date distance, and see exactly how far your next run should be — recalculated daily based on your pace and how often you run.

WHY RUNDOSE?

Most running apps track what you have already done — routes, splits, heart rate. None of them answer the simplest question: if I want to hit my annual goal, how far should I run today? RunDose gives you one clear number, updated every day.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Set your annual goal — pick a target in kilometres or miles
2. Enter your year-to-date distance — how far you have run so far
3. Choose your runs per week — from 1 to 7 days
4. See your next run — one number telling you how far to go

Open the app, see the number, go run. That is it.

PER-RUN RECOMMENDATION

RunDose does not just divide your goal by 365. It calculates based on:

- How much distance is remaining
- How many days are left in the year
- How many times a week you run

If you run 3 days a week instead of 7, your per-run recommendation increases to keep you on track. The number updates daily as the year progresses.

AHEAD OR BEHIND?

A clear indicator shows whether you are ahead of pace, on track, or falling behind:

- A green badge means you are ahead of where you need to be
- A red badge means you have ground to make up
- The exact distance ahead or behind is shown in your chosen unit

VISUAL PROGRESS

A dual-layer progress bar shows:

- Your actual progress as a percentage of your annual goal
- Where you should be at this point in the year
- The day count so you always know where you stand in the calendar

ONE SCREEN, ZERO COMPLEXITY

Everything happens on a single dashboard:

- Your recommended next-run distance front and centre
- Ahead/behind status badge
- Progress bar with expected vs actual
- Year-to-date distance input with inline editing
- Goal and remaining distance stats

No tabs. No menus. No training plans. Open the app and see what you need.

DESIGNED FOR REAL LIFE

- Dark mode — full light and dark theme support
- iPad optimised — comfortable, centred layout on larger screens
- Haptic feedback — tactile confirmation on every interaction
- Accessible — VoiceOver labels throughout

100% OFFLINE AND PRIVATE

RunDose was built with privacy as a foundation:

- No internet connection required — works anywhere
- No user accounts or sign-ups
- No GPS or location tracking
- No data ever leaves your device
- No third-party analytics or tracking

ONE PRICE. NO SUBSCRIPTIONS.

RunDose is a single purchase. No subscriptions. No in-app purchases. No ads. Pay once and get everything.

BUILT BY A RUNNER

RunDose was built by a runner who wanted one clear answer each morning: how far should I run today? No overthinking. No spreadsheets. Just open the app, see the number, and go.
