The SOS flow has four short phases:
• Name it. A soft "a craving's here" — not a warning. It's a feeling, not a need.
• Breathe. Ninety seconds of paced breathing in a calm, living scene. A soft wobbly blob inflates and settles with each cycle. Particles drift on the breath. Rotating lines from Allen Carr's playbook glow one keyword at a time — "pass", "free", "feeling". An optional halo pulses on the in-breath if you want a quiet tap-along. No counters. No streaks. No fail state.
• Log the trigger. Eight chips, one tap: coffee, stress, alcohol, food, social, boredom, screen time, other. Used later to spot your patterns. No intensity sliders. No shame.
• Walk away free. "It passed." Logged to Apple Health as Mindful Minutes, if you've granted it.
PATTERNS, NOT NAGS
After ten or so sessions the app starts noticing things — your peak craving window, your top trigger, the week-over-week direction. It surfaces them in Stats, gently, never as a scoreboard. No nags. No nudges. No scheduled reminders. They're there when you go looking.

3.2 — A calmer Breathe.
The breathing screen during SOS is rebuilt as a single living scene: the wobbly blob is unchanged, with soft particles drifting on each breath, a fading halo you can optionally tap along with, and rotating Carr lines that glow one keyword at a time. Phase labels read "Breathe in / Hold / Let it out / Settle" — observation, not instruction.
Shorter, too. 90 seconds instead of three minutes — closer to how long a craving actually peaks.
Also: Pro subscription unlocks (heart-rate calm-down, slip correlations, premium widgets). Apple Health write-out is on for everyone (Mindful Minutes). Subtle tightening throughout the dashboard, stats, and lock-screen widgets.
