For as long as your child continues to misbehave during their timeout, the longer penalty they store up and payoff. You can refresh the proper-behavior cooldown green ring with just a tap, or configure the timer to reset on loud noises automatically. The visual animation shows the child that the time that they build up is directly correlated to the time they will have to pay down, curbing the delight of disobedience and increasing motivation not just to do better, but to do better as soon as possible. The moment the center behavior cooldown finishes, we stop counting up and we start counting down to the end of the break. If the child's behavior reverts again however, the timer can be instantly flipped to back to gaining time.
