Welcome to your Hiru app!


Hiru App is a calibration application that provides you the best eye tracking experience when you are using your Hiru by IRISBOND.

The calibration teaches the Hiru how to track your eyes. Perform a calibration at the beginning of an eye gaze session, when changing between devices or if you feel you need more accuracy.


Thanks to Hiru app, you can:
→ Have access to a positioning guide for a better calibration.
→ Calibrate the Hiru.
→ Customize the sensitivity of the pointer.
→ Change the Hiru app dwell time.
→ You can use the calibration for a better accuracy.
→ Update your Hiru whenever there is a new release available.
→ You can now understand if your eyes are being tracked without any effort and re-calibrate faster in case you might need it.

Hiru app is available in English, German and Spanish.



This app works for iOS version 15 or above.

New features

- To avoid errors in the Balloon game with its calibration, HiruApp stores internally the last calibration before entering the game. After the game has been completed, HiruApp loads again the last calibration to Hiru.

- Added a new interface inside Reconnection view, offering the user new ways to reconnect the Hiru in different systems.

- To avoid distractions, the top status bar in the calibration target view has been hidden.

- Error and interaction tracking to increase performance. (Google Analytics integration)

- Change all the videos inside HELP section to point into new iPadOS version format.

- Cleaning the house: Improvements in memory.

Fixed Issues

General
- UX improvements empowering the user experience.
- Pointer sometimes became smaller in fadeOut events.
- After exiting the app, the screen locked itself.
- The app crashed sometimes when we opened or closed it. We've changed all the navigation control simplifying it and reducing memory consumption.
- HiruApp sometimes didn't load correctly the License view when Hiru didn't have a valid license.
- HiruApp compatibility with different Hirus at the same time without the need to reboot the app.

Calibration

- The calibration target point sometimes was moving like the cursor at the beginning of calibration.
- Improved the disconnection events, background events or native alerts in the middle of a calibration. In those events, the calibration stops itself.
- The step by step button sometimes was activated without tapping.
- The 5 point calibration sometimes became untargetable.
- It didn't appear calibration results when user had selected only one eye (left or right) in Settings

Settings

- The positioning LED button was off by default but Hiru Led was ON.

Help Section
- Spanish buttons were opening English urls.
- Some Urls have been translated according to the selected language.

Upgrade:

- Improvements in the UX interface
- Improved the disconnection events, background events or native alerts in the middle of update. In those events, the update stops itself.

Balloon Game:

- Score view sometimes had a winky weird behavior.
- Intelligent calibration: The 1 point calibration in this section is only valid inside the balloon game.
