A properly tensioned bandsaw cuts reliably without prematurely wearing out the blade. This app uses the phones microphone to measure whether a bandsaw is properly tensioned while taking into account the type of cut, material to be cut, and specifics of the blade.

In this release, we've added a tone generation feature. Tap on the Play Tone Button to listen to an approximation of the sound that you saw should make. Please note that the frequency can be low and thus can not be reproduced by your device's speakers. Instead, use a bigger speaker or headphones.
