SatEarthView shows the viewable area on Earth from the vantage point of a geosynchronous (geostationary) satellite in the equatorial plane. A geosynchronous satellite is positioned ~35,785 km above the Earth's equator, or ~42,164 km from the center of Earth. SatEarthView helps to answer the question "Can a ground terminal at a specific location on the Earth see a geosynchronous satellite at a specific longitude?
