MovieTravel is the app that allows you to unite the overwhelming beauty of UNESCO world sites to your passion for cinema. Live a tourist experience out of the ordinary by discovering how suggestive UNESCO sites have been home to movie productions ranging from local films to Hollywood blockbusters.
You will be the absolute protagonist of an innovative experience traveling through 5 national itineraries – Greece, Italy, Spain, Malta and France – and 1 international itinerary dedicated to the most important Film Festivals – Lyon, Ibiza, Thessaloniki, Nicosia and others.
Each itinerary will present you with exclusive content, cinema related curiosities about the locations you are exploring, and with the possibility of seeing how that location has been protagonist of famous movies. You will see, out of original movie clips, how the very same place you are at has appeared in movies you loved. But MovieTravel offers much more than that.
To fully boost the level of engagement during your traveling, the app has been enriched with an Augmented Reality mode and a highly entertaining Treasure Hunt.
Along every itinerary postcards of the MovieTravel App will be waiting for you! Activate the AR mode and enjoy exclusive 3D content.
Last but not least, the Treasure Hunt mode turns your visit into a unique experience. Be part of a wider community by collecting points as you progress in your journey. You will need those points to boost your position in the overall ranking!
