Rural in nature, sustainable in farming practices and including an agricultural preserve known as the Citrus/Vineyard zone, the Temecula Valley is widely recognized as the 'jewel' of Riverside County. We are centrally located just east of the I-15 freeway and are within an hour’s drive from San Diego, Orange County or the Palm Springs area. Each of our family-owned wineries are easily accessible and situated just close enough in proximity to one another to make your wine country tour a breeze.

Known for our diversity, wineries here in the Temecula Valley grow and produce over 50 different varietals of wine; from Cabernet Sauvignon to Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot to Mourvedre, and Viognier to Chardonnay. Along with fabulous wines, you'll find incredible winery restaurants, intimate bed and breakfast inns, lush resorts, splendid gift shops, and beautiful picnic grounds.
The wine-tasting experience in Temecula Valley is a very special, personal one, with wines reflecting the exceptional diversity of our region. Most wineries are small, all are family-owned, and it is one of the few remaining California wine regions where winery visitors are likely to run into the owner, winemaker, or other winery principals in the tasting room. While some of the wineries have impressive gift shops, others are focused primarily on their wines, giving visitors a diversity of experiences. All produce exceptional wines, each in their own style, some focusing on a very limited number of wines, while others offer a wide range of wines. The wineries of Temecula are, above all else, friendly and personable.
