Using a Calculator to Add Up the Values of Coins and Notes (Australian Currency)
In this program, students will work with coins or notes shown in boxes. The total value of the coins or notes in the boxes will always add up to a value .
Students will learn to:
1. Identify the value of each coin or note in the boxes.
2. Convert the value into a number.
3. Enter the values into a calculator step by step.
4. Add them together to find the total value, which matches or adds up to the target value.
This activity helps students practice calculating and understanding the total value of coins and notes up to a specific amount.
