The Border States vendor-managed inventory (VMI) app allows users to quickly and easily restock parts and materials, so you can save time, money and labor. This VMI app is simple, efficient and provides details about your orders, pulls, work order pulls, inventory counts and more. The best part? You don’t need an internet connection until you’re ready to place an order!
Getting started is simple. Reach out to your Border States Account Manager and express your interest in the Border States VMI app, and they will provide the labels for the products you need.
How it works:
•When you’re ready to place an order or reorder, scan the appropriate bar code(s).
•Enter the quantities needed.
•Hit Save to scan the next product or Done when you’re ready to submit your order.
•To submit, verify your order information with a few clicks, and you’re all set!

Administration:
- When creating a new company and checking Include common BOM after click save the check mark is removed. Need to go back and check that again and click save
- Change the key# to the product Interface to lookup by Supplier #(SAP #) it was lookup by Item #(Customer Part#)
Transfer:
- ERROR on transfer - Data table warning when creating a Transfer transaction
Receive:
- In the Received screen add fields: Backordered, Is Backordered, Order Line Exception, Order Line Exception Description
Requisitions:
- Ability to do bulk close function in the requisition page
