Build essential money skills by learning how to make change.
This interactive program teaches students how to convert larger denominations of currency into smaller ones, such as breaking a dollar into four quarters or ten dimes. It’s designed to develop practical math and financial literacy skills in a structured and engaging way.
Program Overview:
The top of the screen displays a coin or bill that needs to be exchanged.
Students select coins and bills from the options at the bottom of the screen.
As selections are made, they appear in the middle of the screen, with a counter showing the total value.
Students click “Change Made” to check if the correct change has been assembled.
Modes and Features:
Training Mode: Provides guidance and feedback as students learn.
Test Mode: Allows independent practice with performance recorded for review.
Reports: Summarize student progress and performance during test sessions.
Custom Settings:
Show or hide the value under each coin or bill
Enable or disable instructional command text
Include or exclude congratulatory animations
Choose specific coins and bills available for making change
