MeddApp - Your health at your fingertips.

The most important information you have is your health information for you and any doctor or healthcare professional to use for your care.
It has to be complete and ordered in a way that makes sense and confidential.
MeddApp is an app that brings you and healthcare professionals together to easily view and record all information in a way that can be used in a consultation, wherever you are in the world. MeddApp is a collection of 3 apps:
Meddrecord – a personal medical record and you can order a Meddcard
MeddApp - HIMS – for healthcare professionals to manage their daily workload
MeddApp - PACS – the picture archiving and communication system to view all x-rays and scans

MeddApp downloads to your mobile to create a Meddrecord, a Medical Record that you control. You can:
Add symptoms and record when they started and if they have stopped
Take pictures to add to symptoms e.g. add a mole and take a picture of that mole
Add your conditions and diagnoses such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol diabetes
Ask for a specialist opinion and book an appointment with a doctor to view your symptoms
Record allergies you may have
Record your social history and care needs
Log your diet requirements
Record your current and past medications
Record and track your blood pressure readings
Record your blood sugar values
Record your cholesterol and lipid profile
Record your liver function tests
Record your family history
Record your vaccinations given and due
View referrals from your GP to specialist and view the outcome when ready
Upload and view scanned reports of your paper medical histories

The information recorded about you is important to your health and includes:

Your date of birth to check how old you are, identify you, and check when you record your symptoms starting you don’t start them before you were born for example!! How old you are when a symptom starts can change a diagnosis – a young person only very rarely gets heart pain in the chest but an older person who smokes is more likely

Gender – obviously some conditions affect only females or males and so MeddApp needs to know this

Meddcard – when you have a Meddrecord you can also order a MeddCard that has a unique code for you to allow your Meddrecord to be quickly searched by a healthcare professional looking after you

MeddApp - HIMS has a desktop and mobile version and allows a healthcare professional (doctor, nurse, or professional allied to medicine) to:
Search for a patient’s Meddrecord
See their daily schedule and manage clinics
Make and view referrals and set up contracts to link general practices to specialists for sending referrals
View inpatients, they are looking after and to record information on ward rounds
Request laboratory and x-ray investigations
Manage patient accounts

Meddapp is constantly updated and current versions will allow you to view educational videos, have real-time video consultations, have reminders to take medications and order prescriptions
