LowFi Dojo Automaton is a creative MIDI automation AUv3 plugin that brings the fun back to MIDI recording and automation. Born from the need to simplify MIDI automation, it transforms the often complex tasks of MIDI recording and parameter control into an engaging, visual experience. Originally designed for AUM on iOS to provide essential MIDI recording capabilities, it also works seamlessly with Logic Pro on macOS and AudioBus 3 on iOS.

**Note: This is an AUv3 MIDI effect plugin and does not function as a standalone app. While primarily developed for AUM and tested with Logic Pro, it also works great in Audiobus3 and Loopy Pro**

Why Automaton?
Traditional MIDI recording and automation can be intimidating with complex interfaces and technical barriers. Automaton takes a different approach, focusing on making both MIDI note recording and parameter automation accessible and enjoyable through an intuitive circular interface that lets you see your music and movements as you create them. Perfect for AUM users who need a straightforward yet powerful MIDI recording and automation solution.

Key Features

- Intuitive circular visualization with color-coded notes and automation paths
- Real-time MIDI recording and playback for both notes and CC messages
- Comprehensive MIDI CC automation recording and smooth playback
- Support for standard MIDI CCs, high-resolution CCs, and channel mode messages
- Visualize automation movements with dynamic particle effects
- Record and playback parameter changes from supported synthesizers
- Adjustable loop length and playback speed
- Note quantization options (1/4, 1/8, 1/16, 1/32)
- Octave shifting (-4 to +4 octaves)
- MPE (MIDI Polyphonic Expression) support
- Smooth automation transitions
- HOLD mode for sustained notes
