E6BJet
iPhone / Navigation
E6BJet does what most professional aviation slide-rules do, and adds advanced features for professional pilots flying modern jet aircraft: QNH-QFE conversion, precision temperature corrections to altitudes/heights, crossover altitude determination, and accurate weight/volume conversion for kerosene, wide-cut, and avgas fuels using actual density.
E6BJet also computes turn radius, diameter and circumference, along with turn rate.
Thumbwheels/sliders are used to enter values, which is much faster than aligning discs, or typing in numbers.
E6BJet can determine past, present and future sunrise/sunset and civil twilight times, for any location on Earth, between years 1900 and 2999. A user-expandable database of aerodrome locations is provided.
An appearance similar to modern aircraft flight guidance panels allows instant “what-if” calculations, and keeps all calculation parameters in view simultaneously.
Results are shown in most commonly-used aviation units at the same time, eliminating time spent on conversions.
E6BJet can make full use of the altimeter function most iPhones provide, and act as a baro-recorder.
E6BJet allows quick flight planning calculations for any aircraft, from sport aeroplanes to airliners, and handles calculations well into the supersonic jet range. It is ready for the next-generation of pilots and aircraft.

Quoi de neuf dans la dernière version ?
True Airspeed, Pressure Altitude, and Outside/Static Air Temperature values now sync across tabs. Saves having to re-enter the same values on each tab separately.
Temperatures are now adjustable in 0.1-degree increments. Time (in time-speed-distance calculations) is now adjustable in 1-second increments. This allows calculations with greater accuracy.
Devices with an altimeter now display altitude by default. Makes this feature easier to discover.
Fix: iOS now prompts for user permission to read Altimeter data when access is attempted.
An onboarding tutorial explains how to input data, and other essential features.
Minor appearance tweaks.
