Jot Writer is the simplest way to get into writing.
Jot will organize your content for you into three major content types: A Jot (like a document), a Chapter or Section (whatever you want to call it), and a Paragraph. Chapters and Paragraphs can be cloned, inserted, deleted, and reordered to get your ideas down in the fastest way possible.
To help get you in the mood to write, each Jot can be customized with one of the 7 preset colour schemes. And Jot can be used in either Light or Dark mode, to save your battery and your eyes.
Jot also supports external keyboards, especially our personal favourite, the Electronic Materials Office Altar 1.
Stop messing about with large word processors that only serve to distract you away from getting your ideas down.

- Export your Jots as TXT, or RTF files.
FYI: There is a known issue with rendering modern unicode characters in some RTF readers. We've simplified some of these characters to be compatible with most RTF readers/editors, but some may still struggle with special characters and Emojis. We recommend proofreading any RTF exports if being submitted for editor review or publication.
Near term (1.0.5 planned):
- Comment on Jot Paragraphs
- View all Comments in a Jot, and jump to the Chapter/Paragraph
Long-term (1.1.0):
- Set writing goals, and track progress for each Jot
- Publish your Jots online for sharing via a web page
