SignalScope X offers a range of powerful measurement and analysis tools to enhance your productivity in areas such as acoustics (sound and vibration), audio, electronics, and electroacoustics.
SignalScope X includes a free oscilloscope tool. SignalScope X makes additional tools available via 3 tiers of subscription-based tool sets to meet your basic, advanced, and professional needs. Each subscription works on your iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
Features:
- Analyze signals coming from the Mac or iOS device’s current audio input device.
- Assign engineering units to your input signals and calibrate external transducers for accurate measurements.
- Assign input channel units and sensitivities for individual USB Audio devices.
- Connect lab-grade microphones and sensors to your Mac, iPad, or iPhone with suitable interface hardware for precise measurements.
- SignalScope offers enhanced support for select hardware from Digiducer, The Modal Shop, and miniDSP.
- Nominal acoustic sensitivities included for iPhone and iPad built-in microphones, voltage sensitivities for headset input (including the standard Lightning-to-headset adapter).
- Manually switch between available audio input and output sources.
- Load microphone frequency response data (FRD) and apply frequency response correction (FRC) to FFT-based measurements.
- Manually adjust audio sample rates, even up to 768 kHz, depending on hardware.
- Save acquired measurement data to CSV, TXT (tab-delimited), or MAT files.
- Save high-resolution analyzer display images to PDF files.
- Retrieve your data files from your device via Files (iCloud Drive), iTunes File Sharing, or through a web browser on another device. Files may also be opened in other compatible apps (e.g. Mail, Notes, Numbers, Dropbox, etc).

- Perpetual licenses for each of the Basic, Advanced, and Pro Tool Set tiers are now available within SignalScope X via in-app purchase. The in-app store has been re-designed to offer both subscriptions and perpetual licenses using the latest UI and StoreKit frameworks from Apple.
- New STI/PA tool for measuring speech intelligibility with the Speech Transmission Index (as well as the Speech Transmission Index for public address systems). The STI/PA tool can perform direct Full (Fast) STI as well as direct STIPA measurements. It was developed according to IEC standard 60268-16, Edition 5.0 (2020-09). Pro Tool Set license required.
- New Pro Feature: The Signal Generator tool now offers a STI/STIPA signal generator.
- New Pro Feature: The Octave Analyzer supports a 1/9-octave spectrum, in addition to whole and 1/3-octaves.
- New Pro Feature: The Octave Analyzer allows the filter slope for all fractional-octave-band filters to be manually selected between O3, O5, and O7. The traditional O3 slope is 18 dB per octave rolloff. O5 is 30 dB/octave and O7 is 42 dB/octave.
- New Pro Feature: The Octave Analyzer allows the output of any of the fractional-octave-band filters to be routed to an available output channel.
- The MultiTool is now available with Basic and Advanced Tool Set licenses.
- SignalScope X’s user interface has been updated to support the new liquid glass appearance on iOS and iPadOS 26.
- Faber Account access has been added to SignalScope X to check eligibility for special discounts on in-app purchases and to manage cross-platform licenses. Creating or signing in to a Faber Account is optional.
- The tab view has been removed from SignalScope X on iPhone and iPad and replaced with a tool sidebar menu. Now, to switch tools, tap on the toolbox icon in the top toolbar to open the tool menu and then tap on the name of the desired tool. On iPad, the tool menu can be kept visible or hidden, as desired.
