Pantry Snap is a local-first pantry tracker for iPhone and iPad.
It is built for the real moment when groceries are coming out of the bags and need to get put away fast. Instead of typing every item by hand, Pantry Snap lets you take two quick photos: one of the product and one of the expiration date.
The app stores compact local photos, uses on-device OCR to suggest the product name and expiration date, and keeps the item in a local inventory you can review later.
What you can do with Pantry Snap:
- snap a product photo and an expiration photo in one fast flow
- let OCR suggest the item name and expiration date automatically
- correct the date manually when a stamped label is hard to read
- adjust quantity before saving
- choose where the item is stored: pantry, fridge, or freezer
- decide how many days before expiration you want a reminder
- review items that are safe, use-soon, or expired
- keep everything stored locally on the device
Pantry Snap does not require an account, does not include analytics or tracking, and does not upload your pantry inventory to a developer-run server.
