Pantry Snapper helps you keep track of groceries before they disappear into the back of the fridge, freezer, or pantry.
It is built for the real moment when food is coming out of the grocery bags and you need a fast system, not a chore. Add an item manually, scan a barcode, snap a product label, or use shortcuts to log food quickly. Pantry Snapper keeps the inventory searchable and shows what needs attention first.
Version 2.5 adds a 7-day rescue forecast in Insights. The app now looks across active items, ranks urgent food by expiration timing, highlights the category and storage area with the most pressure, and gives a short action plan for what to cook, use, resolve, or restock next.

Pantry Snapper is local-first. Inventory, photos, barcode memory, reminders, shopping lists, and insight calculations are stored on the device. There is no required account, no developer-run pantry cloud, no analytics, and no advertising SDK.

**7-Day Rescue Forecast**
Insights now includes a forward-looking rescue forecast that ranks active food by expiration urgency and shows what needs attention this week.
**Priority Queue**
The forecast highlights the highest-risk items first, including expired items, items expiring today, and foods with only a few days left.
**Hot Spot and Action Plan**
Pantry Snapper now identifies the storage area and category with the most urgency, then suggests practical next actions such as reviewing expired items, cooking the priority item, checking the fridge, or planning around a category.
**Metadata and Screenshot Refresh**
Store copy, privacy URLs, support pages, and screenshots were refreshed to match the current app and avoid outdated price or feature claims.
