Any Dog is a clean, fully offline dog-breed reference app built for fast lookup on iPhone and iPad.
Browse 360 dog breeds, search by breed name, group, section, country, size, or coat type, and open a rich profile for each breed.
Every breed profile includes:
- a written overview of the breed
- size category, height and weight ranges
- average lifespan
- coat type
- 1 to 5 ratings for energy, shedding, and trainability
- good-with-kids and good-with-other-dogs notes
- FCI number, group, section, country of origin, and recognition status
- a link to the official FCI page and standard PDF

- Favorites: tap the heart to save any breed
- Filter and sort by group, section, country, size, and coat type
- Metric or Imperial units: switch all height and weight displays with one tap
- Breed Finder: answer lifestyle questions for a ranked shortlist

Any Dog stays intentionally lightweight:
- no sign-in or account creation
- no analytics or tracking
- no server required, everything runs offline
The bundled taxonomy is built from the MIT-licensed paiv/fci-breeds dataset; the breed profiles and group guides are original editorial summaries written for this app. Any Dog is an independent reference and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the FCI.

New in 1.6: the My Dogs tab. Add a profile for each of your dogs, link it to a breed from the catalog, and Any Dog personalises the reference for your home: log weigh-ins on a trend chart plotted against the breed's typical weight range, keep a vaccination and vet-visit log with next-due reminders right in the app, and get a care plan built from your dog's breed, age, and logs. Everything stays on your device - no account, no network. Also fixes clipped labels on breed pages.
