Book people on work orders & projects in the mobile app and remove yourself when needed
We are excited to announce a major improvement to our app: you can now book persons directly on a work order or project without switching to the web version. You can also remove yourself from the work. This update makes scheduling smoother for both field staff and office admins, keeping the calendar accurate and up to date.
What’s new
· Book yourself when creating a work order or project in the mobile app so it instantly appears in the office calendar.
· Assign and book others to an existing work order/project without needing the web app.
· Remove yourself from a work order/project if assigned by mistake or unable to take the job.
· Improved view for my contacts – now more intuitive, with company names (when available), quick actions for calling, messaging, or emailing, easy copy-to-clipboard, and the option to edit or delete contacts when allowed.
Why it matters
Before, in the mobile app, you could give someone access to the work, but you could not book them for a specific time in the calendar without switching to the booking view on the web and completing extra steps there. This caused scheduling gaps, double bookings, and unnecessary admin work. Now, field workers can manage work orders and projects in real time, and the office sees the updates instantly, keeping everyone aligned. It closes a major workflow gap, making planning faster, simpler, and more reliable.
