REM Rental Expense Manager keeps track all rental or investment property expenses and readies them for end of year accounting and taxes. Enter expenses with iPhone or other IOS device or upload from existing excel/ other .csv data files. Uses OCR to convert receipt photos to expense records. Output summaries in form of PDF, .txf, or .csv files, via email or text. Can handle multiple properties, multiple filing, customizable expense categories or standard Schedule E tax categories. Friendly editing features and includes some extras like mortgage interest estimations, return on investment and even exporting Schedule E file to TurboTax.

New features include smart receipt capability, archiving files and export of .txf files to be used by tax software like TurboTax. The smart receipt capability utilizes Apples OCR technology to automatically read receipts and convert them to expense records. The archive feature enables archiving older files to avoid over burdening menus, but still keeping data closeby for access. The export feature enables one file to be exported for all properties for Schedule E preparation. The TXF file is capatible with TurboTax and other similar software.
Some other minor bug fixes are included in the update.
