Quoi de neuf dans la dernière version ?
New & Improved
-Center Logo Display on Sign-In Stations: The sign-in station now shows the center’s logo. If the center doesn’t have a logo, it shows the institution’s logo instead. If neither is available, the default icon is used.
-New Sign-In Methodologies Settings: Admins can enable or disable kiosk sign-in options. Scan IDs (camera scanning) is the default when on. QR Code Sign-In requires scanning a QR code from the Accudemia app, and Type User ID allows manual entry. At least one method must be active at all times.
-Search Added to Kiosk Options: Search functionality is now available in the Service, Subject Area, Instructor, and Staff options on the kiosk. This helps users quickly find the right option when the lists are long.
-Barcode Scanner Improvements: Kiosks now treat scanner line endings (Enter, Tab) like pressing Enter on the keyboard, moving to the next step after user ID validation.
-New "External Input Device" Setting: Added a new setting in the device settings screen to support external hardware like keyboards or barcode scanners. When enabled, the on-screen keyboard stays hidden at kiosks unless manually opened.
-"Use student enrollment" Setting Now Supported: AccuKiosk now follows the "Use student enrollment" setting from Accudemia for Center Sign-In Stations. It filters Subject Areas to show only those the student is currently enrolled in.
-Improved Loading for Kiosk Options: The options for Center, Course, Staff, Instructor, and Service in AccuKiosk now support loading more results as you scroll. This ensures users can access all available choices, even when the list is long.
-New Sound Effects in Events Module: Added sound effects for success and failure events for improved user feedback.
Improved QR Code Visibility: QR codes in AccuKiosk now use a fixed color to ensure better contrast and readability. Previously, they followed Accudemia’s theme colors, which sometimes caused display issues.
-Added Descriptions to Device Settings: Each device setting in AccuKiosk now includes a brief description to explain its purpose and behavior.
Network Connection Warning: AccuKiosk now shows a message when there is no network connection, informing users that the app is currently unavailable without internet access.
Bug Fixes:
-Fixed Center List Display: Fixed issue where renamed centers didn’t appear in the Center List for kiosks.
-Text Overflow Fix: Survey instructions no longer overflow on small screens thanks to optimized text sizing and spacing.
