Experience Vision Loss - As It’s Lived, Not Just Explained

As I See It is an immersive vision simulation app that shows how blind and visually impaired people see the world. Developed in consultation with blind and visually impaired individuals, the app serves as a tool for education, advocacy, and accessibility.

It is designed to help educate people about what vision loss can look like, raising awareness and understanding of daily challenges faced by blind and visually impaired individuals.

As I See It allows blind and visually impaired users to show family, classmates, and coworkers how they see in order to build empathy and reduce misunderstandings.

Vision Types & Conditions
As I See It currently includes simulations for a variety of vision conditions:
•Retinal: Retinitis Pigmentosa, AMD, Stargardt, Diabetic Retinopathy, Cone-Rod Dystrophy
•Optic/Neuro: Primary Open-Angle Glaucoma, Acute Angle-Closure Glaucoma
•Refractive: Pathological Myopia, Presbyopia
•Structural: Cataract
•Color: Deuteranomaly, Achromatopsia
