Inundo
iOS Universel / Education
Inundo is a narrative applied game that addresses the themes of active participation and flood risk management.
Through the story of Alex, a young geology graduate student who returns to his hometown to complete his thesis, players encounter and explore key concepts related to flood risks: from territorial and logistical challenges to possible natural and artificial buffers, from varying risk exposures to individual actions and collective strategies for preparedness, and the actors involved in prevention and response.
The crucial themes of urban planning, risk and vulnerability mapping, and coordination between different stakeholders are explored through an engaging narrative that portrays the conflictual relationship between youth and institutions, along with the dynamics, different perspectives, and prejudices that influence it.
The player's choices, guided by their sensitivity and understanding of the proposed themes, influence the course of events and determine how well the European town where the game takes place will be prepared for the extreme weather event that arrives in the epilogue.
