Jamf Parent empowers parents to manage their children's school-issued devices. Using the intuitive interface, you can restrict which apps your child can access on their device, receive notifications when your child arrives at school, and schedule homework time or bedtime by using Device Rules to allow or restrict certain apps.

In Jamf Pro integrations, editing an active Ad Hoc device rule by modifying the app category now works correctly and the new restrictions are correctly applied to the child's device.
In Jamf School integrations, Ad Hoc device rules can no longer be configured. Previously configured Ad Hoc device rules still display in Device Rules. Parents can use Websites, Restrictions, and Allowed apps to allow and restrict apps and websites on a child’s device.
