Educators and school staff use SmartPass on iOS to easily create and oversee digital hall passes in real-time. The iOS app for iPhone and iPad lets staff users:

- create Now or schedule Future passes for students
- approve or deny pass requests
- access Hall Monitor to know which students are out of class on an active pass and where they are headed—with a photo for quick recognition + engagement!
- launch Kiosk Mode for their room when 1:1 devices aren't available
- access their own ID Card

… all while maintaining the school's account settings for room maximums, pass limits, encounter prevention groups, room restrictions, and more. Administrators, teachers, school resource officers, and front office staff all rely on SmartPass iOS each school day.

Students can also use the iOS app—at the school's discretion. iPhone access for hall passes can be disabled for all students by account administrators while still allowing access to ID cards.
